What can be done to prevent this? Writer Greg Pak took to Twitter to highlight a problem in the comic's industry that doesn't get spoken of nearly enough: the difficulty associated with actually purchasing books. Pak specifically mentions that preordering comics is important for retailers to know how much of a book they need to order, but a majority of fans don't bother to preorder their books, likely because of how difficult it is to do. This is only one way that the comic book industry is holding itself back by not modernizing its business practices and the ways in which it gets books out into the world. The Pals discuss how the stagnation of the industry is holding it back, and what can be done to prevent the eventual collapse of the business we all know and love.
