This week, Lucasfilm announced that Game of Thrones television series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will write and produce a new series of Star Wars films. This news has split fans down the middle, as some feel these two have the chops to handle a sprawling universe like Star Wars, while others feel that seeing two white men taking over the series isn't the progress they were hoping for, especially in light of some of the content of Game of Thrones and how it treats women.
